Thank you to Barry and SPI

Yes I have posted a thank you to Barry and SPI before but this is the cherry on top. My first real paint job ever, in my garage with out a paint booth. The SPI products are incredible and make the job way easier than I had anticipated. Barry's support when I was on the ledge on Sunday mornings was incredible as well. Here is the final result. 100% SPI car. Is it is $250,000 Pebble Beach paint job? No. It is better than I ever thought I could do, absolutely. I can point out the several flaws but I won't because they are my flaws and I have a lot of blood sweat and tears in them.

Yes you too can get a paint job that will wow the casual observer, it is really not that hard and Barry and SPI are there to make you successful!

Thanks Barry, John, and the other folks that took my orders and questions on the phone!

Fantastic!!!!!!!!
To be honest with you, you did a fantastic job and a job like this excites me more than a pebble beach job!
Over the years i have helped 100's++++ of people through their first paint jobs and i live for this!

Thank you for posting.
Barry

I just can't wait to get it out in the sun! Now that fall is coming the garage faces south so I am getting about 2 feet of sun on the front at noon and it changes the whole look of it. You can't see the slight wave/peel that this under the clear at all with the sun on it. It is so shiny and orange it is hard on the eyes to look at in the sun :)

Really nice job, you can hold your head high with that one that's for sure. I've said before the sun does wonders and there is another example of the power of the sun it can do more then properly dry things it can help hide those minor issues and also is the best light for color matching.

I really wish my first job 30 some odd years ago looked like yours.

I have all the bright work cleaned up and installed. I am loving the paint even more. Here is what it will look like minus the rims (got to get rid of those skinny tires!).. She is all cut, buffed and polished now.
