I solved my fisheye problem (air line contamination) and dove in to my first base/clear application this weekend. I hit it with 3 coats of prospray with proper flash times and after an hour I shot some intercoat for the stripes and it looked like a petri dish, the metallics were going everywhere. Needless to say I panicked and thought, "there is no way but I will give it a shot" and called Barry - he actually answered the phone! He talked me out of the tree and the rest of the project went perfectly. I think the combination of the drop coat and being a little heavy handed with the intercoat caused my problem.
I guarantee there is no other product on the market I could make a 6:00 saturday tech support call and actually get some! SPI has a customer for life.
Now all I have to do is get the trash and peel out of it and flow coat/cut/buff and I can call it complete. Thank you everyone on this board who has helped me with my silly questions, I will put the finished product in restorations when I get it done.
