The bigger the glob the better the job…. :)

Looks like it's thinned down a lot. With what I dont know. Resin maybe? I can see where it would keep your hands cleaner but you are going to use a lot of brushes. The other thing that comes to mind is that brushing it like that has to leave some air bubbles. IDK.
 
I would probably resort to my finger on something like that. And then spend 15 minutes peeling it off my finger… :)

A real genius would cut a plastic spreader to that profile.
 
Robert of MP&C was the first person I saw cut up a plastic spreader to match a profile. I’m sure he holds the patent… :)
 
I'm just a finger painter. :D When I try cutting one up I can never get the profile I want, or i can't get the filler to spread like I want. I guess I need more patience. Until then I'll keep using my finger.:)
 
Nitrile gloves..Scoop up some filler with a finger or two in order to get it on those areas like door jams. Just did it yesterday in fact in passenger door jam/rocker panel area of my '94 GMC work van that has 320,000 miles on it.
