the bubbling paint along that lip caught my attention, too. ill be talking to her and seeing it in person later today. we shall see if my feeling of "walk away" changes but I don't think it will- even if she looks like the woman in Chris Hamilton's avatar. It's hard to tell from the photo, but I think the rust has progressed under the front lip of the hood into the inner structure.
Wait…that’s not Chris Hamilton in his avatar??the bubbling paint along that lip caught my attention, too. ill be talking to her and seeing it in person later today. we shall see if my feeling of "walk away" changes but I don't think it will- even if she looks like the woman in Chris Hamilton's avatar.
Those are the best customers! The ones who walk away!!!!!welp, that went well for me anyways. I didn't get any pics but didn't take long after Poppin the hood to say replace. I don't know what happened. was told no overheating, no fire but something happened as the underside looked like the top except less rust. the front lip in one dime size spot is held together by the paint and the rest was quite rusty. the rest of the vehicle is actually very clean. .
I told her I wouldn't touch it unless the hood was replaced. she was a bit insistent it could be repaired which I agreed but would cost more than replacing. shes still looking for a shop to fix it I wished her the best of luck.
this is better left to the pros at earl shieb I think there's still one in Cleveland!Uh-Oh Better Get MAACO!
