Toms 57 Chevy

Ok I had to strip my roof back to metal. I am painting my 57 silver with a white top. I was painting the top only white. Now I want to pull the white down the the door and window pillars. Here the problem. I have already jammed silver. I have 2 coats of clear on them. What should to the door frames and jams to go from silver to white. Both colors are prospray.Should I sand the clear and shoot a coat epoxy then color?
Thanks
Tom

If you're taking the white over the silver no need for epoxy sealer, just mask to where you want the white to stop and scuff with a scotchbrite to the edge of the tape. There will be a tape line this way, if you want to bury the tape line you'll have to set it up to clear over it and this can be done a couple different ways.
