using Nason to hide, then chromabase for last coat....bad idea?

HI guys,

I've been working on a silver Acura for a friend and after a failed blend I'm respraying the whole car for him. I have about a quart of Nason left over, and went with Chromabase for the complete...question is, can I spray the nason, then use the chromabase on top? Only reason I'm curious is because I don't want to run out of Chromabase mid way and have to buy more.
 
Done often, let the nason set 30 minutes before the next base is applied.
