UV clear in the sun

#3
Ok, why the rush to get the parts out in the sun? Won’t it cut and buff easier if you keep it out of the sun? At least that has always been my understanding.

I needed to get the hang on parts out of the booth so I could get the main body of the car in and needed to put them outside briefly. Just wanted to make sure it was ok and not too soon. They sat in the booth for about 4 hours. Probably over thinking it... Thanfor the relplies

4 hours should be fine. UV will buff even better fully cured. Just buffed the Cadillac after being in the sun almost every day for over a month. Sanded and buffed like butter.

4 hours is just fine for Sun.
Like pointed out there is no set answer as depends on coats and so many other factors.
Many production jobs have been put out in as soon as 30 mins, one in snow.
