Viscosity issues with white epoxy just purchased

Whenever I get a new shipment of epoxy, I set it upside down on the bench and give it a quick shake every time I walk by.
By the time I'm ready to use it, just needs a quick stir..

i do that with just about anything that needs mixed. always wonder if its gonna leak lol. never does.

The last new gallon of epoxy I opened this summer was from 2022 on the can and it took me an hour to get it mixed up. The solids felt like they were about half the can. I don’t recall this epoxy ever having that much solids but it just takes time to stir.

And make sure you’ve stirred in every bit of solids, and have scraped all of them off both the sides and bottom of the can.

Turning it upside down for a few days does seem to help. I flip my cans every few months during the winter.
