This is one of those love it or hate it fabrication builds. Personally, I would love to see this wearing SPI Black. That would be pretty sinister looking.........

Chip Foose did something similar with a showroom new 2009 C6 Corvette and a 65 Impala, but it took them longer than one year, more like 4 or 5 years. It looks stock in this picture, but read on. This type of build is not for everyone no matter how good it is, but I like the old look with all the new features, except the high back seats.

That car was at the Chattanooga world of wheels years ago. There was a regular size car there that it could be compared to. It was a very impressive build. Attention to detail on steroids.

I have pics from when it was debuted at autorama. Very cool indeed. I'd say chip hit just a little closer to the bullseye than the original post..:D

One of the requirements for the Ridler award is that the car must not have been shown anywhere before the Autorama Show in Detroit where the Ridler award is handed out.

Welp, I know who's not getting a Christmas card this year ............................................:p..............................................

How do I unsee that? A 55 Ford pickup and a Mustang wasted. Bets on how many gallons of filler used?
Don't know what I hate more: the windshield valence, the front bumper or the ridiculous air dam.
That's what I was thinking. Damn shame a 55 went to waste like that.
