what air press. for euro clear?

I'm trying some SPI Euro Clear (pt # 5100-1) for the very first time. I shoot DuPont on a regular basis but from what I read here on the site, it seems as though SPI products are just as good of a product, if not better. Not to mention the price difference is very appealing. So I'm giving it a shot in the next few days.

Another thing I notice here on the site, is that the LPH 400 seems to be the favorite tool of choice when spraying these clears. Unfortunately I don't have a LPH 400. What I use is TEKNA. I have a dedicated clear gun with a.1.4 needle. What air pressure do you guys recommend I shoot this clear at?

The tekna with the 1.4 will be just great, use same setup as far as adjustments that you use for the Dupont but you may need 2-5 lbs more air at the gun.

Thanks Barry, I'll post up when I get around to shooting it. Thanks.

make sure you read the tech sheet on the low voc Euro - gotta spray the first coat wet like you want it to look the next day. this stuff is hard to run, If I sprayed the universal like I do the low voc euro id run the whole car ;) maybe do a test panel :encouragement:
