Guys need a little advice. I sprayed my car yesterday and got trash in one of the quarters. It has 3 coats metalic base and I want to wet sand it and apply 2 more coats. What grit should I use?

My nephew is a painted at a Audii shop and he hits his base with 800 dry sponge like Don said to de nib most of his work then re base $80,000 booth and sill dust but high volume shop

Thanks guys, I don’t have one of those. Will Super Assilex 800 and a soft pad work?

As for the trash not to bad but after posting and getting a better look it also appears to have inconsistent spots that look flatter if that makes sense.

I don’t think a difference in sheen will hurt anything but hopefully one of the pros will weigh in.

Don, one other question. Once I de nib is there a re-coat window. I know unsanded base can go for awhile.

Thanks, and buy the way the settings you recommended for the Iwata 400 for spraying base were spot on
