Back in the 80's it was one of those things car dealers bought in 55 gallon drums and applied to the paint on new cars, followed by an add-on cost sticker applied to the car's window for several hundred bucks. Chemically, I have no idea what its made of, but I'm pretty sure the chemistry was secondary to enabling dealers to further empty the pockets of customers.

Interesting. What are you using it for? I got it years ago thinking it would remove ceramic coating.
