What the heck?

I live about 35min away from TP tools, nice store, and while I will not use one of those systems I have used one similar when they first came out in the 90's and it sprayed clear real bad. As for the new ones like this, I don't know and don't care I do just fine with the equipment I have and will only upgrade the guns if needed to a new conventional style not those extreme low pressure self contained units unless mabey I started spraying the inside of a house or something (mabey).

Turbines aren't new. I would imagine things have improved since the early 90s. Suppose to be great for cold conditions since they warm the air. Low overspray too. I hear it takes a bit of practice to get the settings right and how it sprays.

Snake oil sums it up best, I have been through a 100 people at least in the last ten years trying to make these things work.
They are perfect for painting decks and fences or old enamels but not modern urethane's.
To get one that will "half way" work needs to be a stage 4 or higher and about a $2500 bill..

painting with mom's hoover on steroids . fad of the 70's . semi ok if shooting up north in the winter but useless as tits on a bull in texas. lacquer loaded up with retarder would still dry spray.
