First timer. Finished laying 3 coats of spi universal clear on Friday. Can I wait a week before wet sanding. 1000 grit wet the best to start with before buffing. Thanks

Then wetsand and pull car in sun one more day.
Could cut you first round of buffing by about 50% time wise.

For me it doesn't buff well when it's in the rubbery stage, sanding seems faster when it's soft but the scratch size can show up inconsistent and I would suspect if you zoomed in/magnified to look at the scratches you would see more irregular, jagged tearing instead of a clean consistent cut-ever try to remove a run when it's too soft?
