Where to go from here?

Hi, I have a Couple of questions I’m am not sure about. I have painted 5 cars as a hobbiest and all have turned out fine but had a lot of ups and downs and redo’s. I am just trying to be more consistent and now using all SPI products.
1. Stripped car to bare metal
2. 2 coats SPI epoxy, blocked
3. Filler work and more epoxy, blocked
4. 2 coats of SPI 2k primer.
Car has been sitting in shop for about 6 months while I’ve been addressing mechanicals. About to start final blocking and paint.
My questions are:
1. When blocking I am sure I may block thru to the epoxy in a few places. Can I just spray more 2k over the epoxy where it is showing thru? even though the epoxy is way out of the window.
2. I plan to paint and clear some of the parts ( under the hood, inside doors, under the hatch, door jambs etc) at least a few weeks before spraying the outside of the car. My plan is to activate the base. Im thinking I won’t be able to spray a epoxy sealer coat on the outside because I will get epoxy sealer on the already finished parts. Is this correct or is there another way?
3. I am sanding all the panels to 600 grit The perfect paint job reads “if sanded 2k primer has set more than 24 hours you must scuff first with a grey scuff pad or equivalent before applying another product” would this be correct for applying base coat?
Thanks for all the previous help. I could not have got this far without y’all!

You should cover the bare metal with epoxy for best adhesion.

Mask off all the painted areas so you can apply sealer for best adhesion. Backtape your gaps. There are YouTube videos showing how to back tape.

Yes. Also true for sealer.

Thanks for all the previous help. I could not have got this far without y’all!
