I've read all the threads and surfed internet and can't get a definite answer. Some people(seems to be custom guys) love the universal and there are rave reviews on the production clear. Here is my situation. Be doing an allover on crewcab F-350, no jams. My order of priorities are easy for novice, long lasting, cost and looks. I would be thrilled with a production quality job. Its a driver and a truck, I can't have it too nice otherwise I'll be afraid to use it.
I want a clear that shoots user friendly but gives me the option to sand/buff afterwards.
-will 2 gallons sprayable be enough? cost would start to factor in on this big SOB
- Don't got a 1.4, how bad will a 1.5 screw it up?
- What are the key performance differences in the clears?
