Oh that would be fun.. would be a good opportunity to learn also.

You got that right, and you know I hate to miss a chance to learn something. Wish I had known about this project when I went to Metalmeet last month. I might have been able to make a detour for a couple of days for that. Already drove 850 miles, a couple of hundred more would not have been a big deal.

WHAT?????? NOW YOU TELL ME!!!!!

LOL.. I wanted to go actually but they have it right before I am able to take time out of here. Oh well.. live and learn.

Yes, but it's progressing very slowly at the moment, i'm getting some help with the sheetmetal work on the fenders, but since he works a full time job at another shop progress has been slow.. A few more patches on the drivers side fender and it should be nearing completion.. Tonight he is building a rocker panel for drivers side. Tomorrow I am hoping for some more fender patches.

I'm really anxious for him to finish up his work so I can jump back into it..

No didn't use it on this one. I used the shake and shoot stuff by sem. rockit liner. That was going to be my next suggestion to barry. Those are becoming very popular. Can just mix 1 qt and spray. Not sure he could make a liner he would be happy with like that though.

I do like the way this looks though.
I only used 2 cans but build wasn't a concern for me.

Opted to not use any poly primer on this one, 3 coats of epoxy, going to block that a bit then some 2k primer.

Should start progressing on this soon, it's been out for quite a while getting the motor work done.

Great work Chad! What metal working tools do you have to rebuild the floors and fenders? I would imagine an english wheel? I'd like to get into more metal fab repair myself.

My buddy has a english wheel and brought it down and helped on those, but the wheel sucked to be honest, Could have been much nicer with a good wheel. I'm in the process of picking up my own and a few other metal shaping tools. Right now I just have shear, break, bead roller, and a planishing hammer.
