A100 Twins

And tomorrow’s project all laid out. I have already inspected the thermal nichrome wire in the gauges and they look really good on this. You can tell when they’re not looking so good and the ceramic coating on the wire is crumbling and falling off these look great. I will be taking the gas gauge apart to clip out the bi metallic regulators so I can install, the RTE microcontroller regulator with current limit to protect things just in case one of those thermal wires does short out in the future.
That /\ went CLEAN over my head!

What happens if that short happens, does the gas tank blow up like a Hollywood movie?

This is a member on an old forum I used to go on. I think the truck ran low 12's in the quarter.

That trucks been around forever. When I used to go on that forum he was just a kid. Maybe 18 or 19 at this time.

Most would call me an idiot for spending 3 days getting the door jambs to look this good but it is the details that take a restoration over the top (actually some would call me that regardless). Worth it in my opinion.
No way, the willingness to stick with it and do the job can in no way make you an idiot. Definitely worth it.
