I want to create the "Best Sanding Blocks Ever"

I had a topic come up and thought I would do an informal "poll."
I'm currently planning to offer the blocks in 8", 16" and 24" (and the 24" is in question.)
Had a restoration pro tell me that I should make the lengths the same a Durablocks, which are 5.5", 11" and 22", as they are based on pre-cut strips or sheets from 3M, Mirka, etc. and that most people use the strips vs. just cutting the length needed from PSA rolls.

What are your thoughts?

Rolls or strips? Which do you use? How important is this?

Mostly rolls here also

I use the rolls so whatever would work BUT my 2 cents the 11" is/seems too short and then jumping to the 22" seems like to big of a gap between board sizes. 16 and 24 seems more ideal or maybe just what I am used to. with an 11" I would rather use a paint stick at that point..

And sorry after re- reading I got stuck on the 11" , I see you say the 24 is in question , guessing you mean 22 instead of 24 , again at this point use rolls so that wont matter as long as you are keeping the 16"..

Rolls for me as well.
11" is a good block size. Would be very popular. Personally something along the lines of 6". 11". 17-18" and 24" would cover 98% of the needs of most.

Rolls for the most part.
I still keep packs of wet/dry sheets for certain areas.
U can find dura-blocks on Amazon in 5.5, 11, 16, 24 and 30 " lengths. They started selling hook&loup in 24, 30, 36, 48 "
Just waiting patiently for Dean's :)
