Metal Prep for Fire Damage

doesnt look like you have to cut or buff much it at all. dont go backwards! if youre real good or get lucky like i did on my last helmet you dont need to do much!

Ohh Form, I saw your helmet. It is wicked cool!

I had to wet sand a LOT. And I think that is an understatement lol. I sprayed 3 coats of clear and because it was such a mess I had to wet sand the whole thing with 400. My next 3 coats were a lot better, but much more wet sanding was still in order! I finished her off with 1000, 1500 then 2000. We couldn't find 2500 anywhere in our area. Maybe one day I'll be able to lay it down half as flat as you! Until then, I have to work with what I can! :)
