Just wanted to up the status of my neighbors wheels I have been working on. Not much on the painting of it since last time of all the
fiasco I muddled through.
They had a new crate engine in it that had sat unmolested since 1987 - and after a bath of Marvel Mystery oil over this entire time - getting the engine assembled and all the associated array of parts that I did not remove - last weekend was fire up day. The oil bath finally cleared and all is well.
They have repo fenders coming - wheel wells are all epoxied and primered - just working on the mechanical stuff at this time.
They have to figure out what they are going to do for paint - but they have been warned.
