Ive been working on the body of my el camino restoration. The fenders and doors I had sanded down to bare metal, patched the areas needed, and straightened the dents as much as possible. Then I put down a layer of epoxy primer and began using body filler to get everything smooth. After sanding some areas would be back to metal and I applied another layer of epoxy.
After doing some more reading I think that I should have put down two layers of epoxy, then use 2k high build primer and do the body filler work on that layer then top it off with a reduced1:1:1 mixed epoxy as a sealer.
Does this sound the proper process that I should do? How many layer of 2k should I use, 1 before body filler one after or just epoxy sealer after body filler?
Thanks for any help
