Re painting a truck box that has sanding scratches

Ok so sanding away with 600. Got these rock chips that were just painted and cleared over. How do I address these?

I think it might. Give it a try. Use some dry guide coat. Sand it dry so you can see what you’re doing.
Yes I’ll get some. Last project I used black spray can primer ,amazing how it show’s scratches. But it was messy to spray and had to keep masking stuff off The dry sounds much better.

So on the rock chip thinking grind out with my dremel and fill with glazing putty?
Is this standard procedure?

Just an update finally painted this truck. Blend went really good into the rear door. The box was painted. Blend I just sprayed lightly or dry some would call it. Was worried the clear wouldn’t hide the little dots of base but it did. Just the orange peel to cut and buff now.
Thanks to @Chris_Hamilton for all your blend help.

I’m trying to get rid of the scratches. Sanding with 600 I don’t think will remove them if they’re in the bondo or under the base. Don’t know.My thoughts are that the high build will fill them.
Thanks for your help though.
The clear will fill the scratches, but maintains the scratch profile within the mil build of the clear. If you cut the top of the clear flat, the scratches might disappear. Very similar to when a bug lands in clear. Pile more clear on over it. It will still look like hell, but when you cut the clear flat it all disappears.
