Something else to keep in mind here...a "good" gun can often be had for cheap from ebay, craigslist, ect. I just bought a used sata 4000rp for $250. Also, keep in mind...a painter with 30 yrs experience can take a cheap gun and produce excellent results...but people like me NEED a good gun just to get decent results LOL! One more thing...with a good gun (sata, iwata, ect...) that is in good shape and maintained...you can expect identical results everytime...i have noticed that the cheaper guns do not always do that. Is it possible to use a cheap gun and produce show car paint jobs?? Absolutely, but the money you saved will often cost you in the form of ever changing variables. Just my experience.
