i have not done it or seen it done but i heard about a shop that would take a bike tank, fill it with water and put in freezer to pop out dents...
The problem with that is the freeze might pop things that don't need to be popped. Same problem with using high air pressure.i have not done it or seen it done but i heard about a shop that would take a bike tank, fill it with water and put in freezer to pop out dents...
I know it would if I tried that! The problem with that is the freeze might pop things that don't need to be popped. Same problem with using high air pressure.
Yep I seen what water can do with a cast iron block...let alone thin sheet metal... probably do like a milk jug with frozen waterI know it would if I tried that!
One way to increase a tank capacity, just fill in the blanks.Yep I seen what water can do with a cast iron block...let alone thin sheet metal... probably do like a milk jug with frozen water
Those tanks look great Ernie. Thanks for sharing. Here is one I did with studs then filled with lead. New aftermarket but I accidently dented it while modifying something else! So I wanted to make it good.
