Been having a friend help me with painting projects. I want to buy him an entry level budget gun. Something maybe like a Devilbiss FLG5 or an iwata gunsa, etc. Thanks.
If you have a little time, you can sometimes find very good guns on Ebay that someone bought for a 1 time project, or they upgraded and just want to get something out of their old one. If you go that route, I would stick with brands you can get parts for if needed. The Gunsa is actually a very good gun in the $150-$200 range. I would stay away from the very cheap guns, as the quality control is not very good. Some of them spray nice, but I've seen some that are terrible. Plus the cheaper ones often waste much more product as overspray then they save in their price. I have a gun from CarWorx as a back-up back-up gun that I bought for $60. It sprays very nice, but I am always having trouble with the cup seal.Been having a friend help me with painting projects. I want to buy him an entry level budget gun.
