Mopar Nut
Will be using some PTO time this week
. 3 more good coats of clear and time to bask in the sun for a few days. Oodles of runs to sand out but that is better than dry spray..... The third coat I was not worried about the dust (natures pearl) since that coat will mostly be sanded off... Looks better in the photo so when it is finally finished and cut and buffed... wow.
I am understanding how critical the gun setup and temperature is 1/4 turn is the difference between perfect and runs. What a dipstick. I was target focused on spraying and was spraying the top of the quarter and did not even register the trunk was open. Ran along and the gun hit the trunk and stopped dead. Big old blob that melted through the one coat of UC under it and disturbed the damn metallic below it. Sigh. Oh well I’ve gotten good at fixing and blended that problem too over the last few weeks. This one is going to be end of me.
