on a different note, i just shot the first coat of ss on the tail gate and saw a cloud of dirt/blasting abrasive, fly out of the handle opening.
after multiple rounds of blowing it out, and four coats of epoxy, now it decided to come out of there. gak!

Quality is quality regardless of hvlp or conventional. I stopped at my buddies garage a few weeks ago and he was trying to spray a few parts. He was struggling. I took over for him and turned it into an acceptable job. But his husky Home Depot spray gun made me work damn hard for it.

i have a cheap amco siphon around here some where..........i did as good with that thing as any thing else so far. on the other hand it did mostly shoot cheap enamel on trailers and equipment. on the plus, i seem to do better with spi products than any thing else in the last 20 years. so product probably contributes as well.
