Re painting a truck box that has sanding scratches

Truck box has had the wheel openings replaced. After painting and clear there are visible scratches in what I assume is bondo. Patch panels were attached with panel bond. Colour is off a little from the cab and the paint wasn’t blended so in the right light you can see both the scratches and the colour diff.
Have paint now that matches much better so plan on blending into the back door of the cab. Question is what’s the best way to attack the scratches? They are only around the wheel opening about 8” all around. First plan was to 800 wet everything including the blend area. Then spray high build where the scratches are and then sand again 320-600. Metallic paint. So will high build stick to clear coat sanded to 800?
Probably missing more info so ask away. Thanks.

Not the best but zoomed in you can see them I’ll try again a different way

amateur here but i would say those are 80 or 180 grit scratches that the primer didnt fill. or shrunk back into. i dont think there is a need to reprimer anything but i would sand it and lock it down with reduced epoxy as a sealer. but i dont know what im doing most of the time.

Ok so that’s part of my question I guess. Do I need to sand them out first. Trying to avoid sanding the whole side of box with multiple grits. How do you do a start stop line of say 180 grit. To the 800 on the rest of the box that has no scratches?

Is this the same truck that had door alignment issues?
yes, thats been fixed or at least better now.Ive also since painted the plastic fender covers.Unfortunately they dont cover the scratches. What really bothers me is the box is a different shade and it wasn't blended into the rear door.I now have paint thats really close and would like to try a blend.
Im just a hobbyist,thanks.

Ok so 600 for tooth of the sealer? Now all I have is 2k high build witch can be reduced.
I know the epoxy is the choice but I have the 2k so want to use it up.
So wet 600 the whole box side, assuming flatten the clear? Then blend reduced 2k in the affected areas sand again to 600.
The paint blend area on the rear door was going to do 800.
Thanks for your help.

I've had some success with color sanding those type of scratches out. Start with 1500 and see what happens.

You lost me when you said no epoxy sealer. :) Hopefully one of the pros will step in here. @Chris_Hamilton ….

If you are trying to blend then I don’t see the need for the sealer at all. Just flatten it and shoot your base.

I am out of my league here, should have kept my trap shut… :D

I’m trying to get rid of the scratches. Sanding with 600 I don’t think will remove them if they’re in the bondo or under the base. Don’t know.My thoughts are that the high build will fill them.
Thanks for your help though.
