Truck box has had the wheel openings replaced. After painting and clear there are visible scratches in what I assume is bondo. Patch panels were attached with panel bond. Colour is off a little from the cab and the paint wasn’t blended so in the right light you can see both the scratches and the colour diff.
Have paint now that matches much better so plan on blending into the back door of the cab. Question is what’s the best way to attack the scratches? They are only around the wheel opening about 8” all around. First plan was to 800 wet everything including the blend area. Then spray high build where the scratches are and then sand again 320-600. Metallic paint. So will high build stick to clear coat sanded to 800?
Probably missing more info so ask away. Thanks.
