Years ago when I was still in the collision shops we did some corrosion testing for weld through primers, the test panels were put in salt water, I can see why Chrysler warns against the use of them because they rusted worse than the bare panels.

Very nice table and great idea. I think the term everybody is using today is "repurpose". You said it is in your living room. I'm guessing you're not be married.

Thanks and yeah i love the table. Ive been on a hunt for a small old jointer like that for a couple years. This was the first time i had ecer used the rust solution and i thought that was super cool stuff. Worked way faster than i thought it would.
