time is a problem

Then use reducer.

Yep use reducer or lacquer thinner.. Wipe it clean.. I have read this thread and not responded..

So let me say this 1 thing...

If you clean off the butyl with reducer, acetone or lacquer thinner and it wrinkles the epoxy, or simply wipes it off... Then I would advise getting rid of that product on the car and starting over.. That is all I have to say about it.. I think enough has been said by those who are very knowledgeable about the whole situation.. No other input is needed as I think most people are going to do what they want to do in the end regardless.. Just been my experience in dealing with our own kind over the years..

Best of luck to you

Crash,

What qualities make a reducer good? How you can tell one from the next. Thanks in advance for the education.

I bet if you started a thread on the subject, we'd all learn a thing or two.

Mostly I know from the results they produce, although some have very detailed MSDS sheets.
