SL-C mirrors have signals built in that were not even close to fitting

Trying to match some powdercoat colors on a bike I'm painting. These matches were achieved with the use of candies(which I hate) but oh well.

This pink is close, but not quite there. Don't let the pic fool you.

Still trying to find something for this blue:

As far as the color match, it looks good to me. I envy those who can match color. I myself can not.

Got the first stage of the white bike complete. I was honestly ready to give up on SPI clears and epoxy due to having many issues while spraying them. Did some reading and got some advice from others, made some adjustments and this right here may be the best I have ever sprayed Euro clear. Guess I just got really lazy with paying attention to my pressures and gun settings over the years.

Sealed up:

Nice! I'm a big fan of painting props. Even when using a 2nd wire to hold small hanging parts, they can still twist.

This time I went back to my ProLite. te20 1.3 tip, 1.5 turns out @ 35psi... I was shooting @ 26psi, but just couldn't get it to not run. I may revisit the DV1 clear gun again and bump the pressure up also and see how it goes.

For epoxy - reduced. Again, ProLite te20, 1.3 1.5 turns out @ 24psi. I used to have a lot of separation issues with it and it was so frustrating, but when i back the pressure down it just flowed out really nice.

Overall, the ProLite is probably my favorite gun.

Wow. 1.5 out is hardly anything. With the 1.3 tip, I was between 2.5&3 turns out at 29 psi. I never thought to bump up to 35psi. I've been using the LPH400 with the 1.4.

Glad you got it figured out. It can be frustrating.

Ya the LPH is a different animal for sure. I may have been 2 turns out by the end of the night.

On my DV1 clear gun, 2 turns out is basically fully open. I'd day on the prolite its about 60% open.
